What has been the most surprising thing for you about being a founder?

I don't know if its specific to the founder journey or just life in general but the most gratifying stuff has been a byproduct of embracing the chaos.

Things are pretty easy when everything falls into place. Navigating chaos and unexpected twists that the market throws you often seem to be the most enjoyable wins.

Apart from that ... that anyone cares about this crazy idea my co-founders and I thought we should build. Customers want to use it? People want to work here? Wow.

What was the highlight of your Iterative experience?

Sounds like shooting for brownie points but working with Brian and Hsu Ken was awesome. Super founder friendly and they seem to have a personal story or analogy for almost every issue batch founders brought up.

Was also good fun closely collaborating with others founders / crazies who decided to dive into the startup journey.

What is one thing that you would tell to your 10 year old self?

You can't lose if you don't quit.

What's the craziest thing that has happened to you in your job?

Have you seen the past 2+ months in the crypto space? WTF!?! As Hsu Ken recently articulated to me, we went from "war time CEO" to "front line of an alien invasion CEO".

If you could be an animal, what would you be? Why?

Mamba. Koooobbeeeee!

What was your dream occupation growing up?

Getting drafted to the NBA. Reality unfortunately hit quick.

If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?

Live forever. Life is dope... although I’m ok with the notion that we aren’t forever.
